The AI Rugged Computer RML A3 is based on the RSL A3, but additionally has four PoE ports (Power over Ethernet). They can be used to connect sensors directly and supply them via the embedded computer. Furthermore, the RML A3 is perfectly suited for customer-specific interface layouts – additional USB, CAN or RS232 interface ports are possible.
With the Jetson AGX Xavier™ module, the rugged computer is able to process and evaluate data from multiple HD streams simultaneously and practically in real time. Frequently, the RPC RML A3 is used as a real-time controller for intelligent vision applications, such as object or hazard identification, or for sensor fusion applications such as advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
The RPC RML A3 complies with IP67 and IP69 protection classes. This makes it one of the most robust embedded systems on the market. Syslogic combines the NVIDIA module with a proprietary carrier board that fulfills high shock and vibration requirements. To protect the electronics against moisture, humidity, and dust, the Rugged PC features an extremely robust housing and screw-on M12 connectors. Furthermore, a Gore vent element ensures pressure equalization inside the device.
